The first sled dog we brought home was a Malamute, Motoki. She came home in 2002. Motoki was supposed to be the only malamute we would get but once we watched our first rally at New Forest in 2002 we were hooked. A couple of years later our second malamute came home, followed by huskies in 2006.
We are lucky enough to train with a group known as "Southwest Trailblazers". This is where Roger was given the fantastic opportunity of running huskies for Sue Blake & Graham Good (Rykalov).
Roger is very competitive in the racing. I (Lou) enjoy the working side but am currently not as competitive as Roger.
We also show a couple of our girls, but much prefer the working side.
